A self-clinching blind threaded standoff is a type of fastener designed for thin sheet metal applications, providing a secure, threaded hole without passing completely through the material. It installs by pressing into a pre-punched hole, permanently clinching in place. The blind-threaded design ensures a smooth, closed surface on one side, maintaining a flush finish. 

Type BSOS Stand Offs are made from 300 series Stainless Steel and are designed for installation in steel or aluminium sheets of HRB 70 / HB125 or less. They are not recommended for stainless steel applications.
