Internal Reference: PT-CHC-M3-12

Concealed Head Self-Clinching Studs (CHC)  are designed to provide strong, reusable threads on one side of a panel while keeping the opposite side smooth and unmarked. Installed into a blind, milled hole in metal sheets as thin as 1.60mm, these studs offer a permanent, high-strength attachment without visible hardware on the finished side.

Installation is simple: the fastener is placed into a milled hole and pressed into place using a hollow anvil and solid punch. During installation, the surrounding sheet metal flows around the stud’s head and into the undercut, locking it securely with excellent load-bearing capability.

Type CHC Flush Head Studs are made from 300 series Stainless Steel and are designed for installation in steel or aluminium sheets of HRB 70 / HB125 or less. They are not recommended for stainless steel applications.
